Reiki @ the YWCA

The YWCA does amazing work around the world, and right here in Chicago. Reggie, Patrice and I met a group of dedicated, open-minded women who help other women heal from the most traumatic experiences of their lives.

It was a pleasure to introduce them to reiki via a short presentation and 15-minute demos.

Our hope is that we might help them help their clients recover from these experiences, and possibly even help the men perpetrating the assaults deal with the anger that causes them to act out and harm women.

Here’s to forging ahead and making progress, even in challenging times.
